In a bowl, grate daikon (approx. 10cm per 10-15 oysters), add oysters, and gently mix.

When daikon turns gray, discard daikon, and rinse with cold water.

<Notes>
- Grated daikon is the common choice for cleaning oysters because the constituent of its spicy taste, isothiocyanate, has a detoxifying effect. Potato starch works equally well in terms of cleaning and eliminating smell.
